2009 Miscellaneous---long past due!

Yea!---I have my computer!

So, here are some pics from my camera from over the summer and into the end of the year of our 2009 happenings...

Gunnar started kindergarten! It took about a month before he got comfortable and used to his surroundings, but he LOVES school-He even wakes up an hour early sometimes and worries that he's missed the bus! He's doing great and learning so much...we still can't believe how grown up he is!

Macie started pre-school--although this picture doesn't show her enthusiasm for it--she has fun and has gotten to know a lot of friends around our community. She's SO ready for kindergarten and always asks when the next getting-to-know-you day is and loves to copy whatever Gunnar is doing for homework and reading!

Macie had her 4th birthday party and we celebrated with her cousin Sydney who turned 3 a couple weeks after---both are princesses to the core, so Stephanie and I made them their favorite princess to eat!

Bear Lake + September = cold!

We still had fun anyway. We drove around the lake and ate at LeBeau's, yum!

Macie and I went with my mom, Stephanie, and Sydney to Disney Princesses on Ice and had a funfilled girls nite---and of course, we ate at Crown Burgers!

It was fun and she was really excited to see all the princesses-in the picture she was trying to watch the show while I was taking it.

Our Christmas festivities this year began with FHE, taking the kids to Brigham and eating at Taco Time(their favorite place!), then stopping at the Nativity at the Tabernacle and on to Santa's Village...it was cold, but they had so much fun. Gunnar absolutely loved the nativity and for the rest of the month, asked to go back and "push the button" to listen to the narration. At Santa's Village, we lucked out and caught Santa just before he left and the kids got to tell him one thing that they wanted: Gunnar-a "toy" combine; Macie, a doll house; and Broxton, a toy tractor. Luckily for us, the two more times they saw Santa this year, they told him the same thing!

Macie's class had a Christmas program and sang songs-it was cute to watch the kids and then they got to decorate cookies and sing songs with Santa and Mrs. Claus. (sorry the pics so dark)

And, we can't forget the annual Jarrett Nativity tradition---notice the Shepherd picking his nose in the back :)

These are the Jarrett great-grandchildren - minus a couple rambunctious little boys- it's crazy to think that there will be four more little ones (that we know of right now) to add to the bunch next year!

And finally, Christmas at home.
Gunnar got his combine.

Macie got her doll house.
Broxton got his tractor.
And we happily ate donuts and chocolate milk!
There you go, some of the things that went on at our house this past year- now come on back in a bit for the cruise pics!

we are here...

Yes, we are still here--Trevor and I made it back from the Caribbean and had a blast! No pictures now, will get them up later...I have been without my computer for a couple months 'cause it went ka-put and is still in the shop. So when I get it, I will update it all and get some pics here. We are doing well, trying to stay healthy and we are looking forward to the holidays!

Wishing you all well and great happiness in the next year!

Happy Holidays!!!

To those who didn't get our text...

As we ready for our cruise,
we thought we would share our news.
This Caribbean trip for us two,
will be our last for just a few.
For you'll see in the weeks to come,
a couple pounds gained on the "tum".
Our family of five we think is great,
so we're adding another to our plate!
